The Riverside Church Archives primarily accepts collections and objects that are directly related to its mission, history, property, or predecessor churches. The Riverside Church also accepts, on a limited basis, objects not directly related to its mission, history or property but which are appropriate for interpretation, exhibition, or display. For more information, please see our Collections Management Policy.

Our archive team reviews all potential donations and makes selections based on the archive’s acquisition and collection goals. We do not guarantee acceptance of offers. We carefully consider each potential donation on a case-by-case basis and only accept materials into our collection after an internal evaluation. Once a decision has been made to accept a proposed donation to The Riverside Church, the donor will be asked to execute a Deed of Gift.

If you are interested in donating to the Riverside Church Archives, please contact us.

Please include a description of the object or materials and high quality images. Please also include provenance information such as how and where you got the materials and how long they have been in your/your family’s possession.

Once we receive your inquiry, we will be in touch with you to discuss further details.
