Yes, original archival materials or artworks from Riverside’s collection may be loaned to qualified institutions, such as libraries, museums, and archives, for exhibition. Borrowing institutions must have an established exhibition program, a physical environment that meets preservation and security needs, and professional staff who are knowledgeable in handling the requested materials. Exhibitions must be accessible to the public and educational in scope. Please refer to Section 10 of our Collection Management Policy for more information regarding loans.
Please submit a written request via email if you are interested in borrowing materials from the collection. You may attach any necessary files, such as a formal proposal or current facilities report. We do not guarantee approval of loan requests but carefully consider each request on a case-by-case basis.
